The YDLIDAR TW3 is the world’s first mass-produced consumer-grade underwater green laser lidar, developed by EAI Technology specifically for the pool cleaning robot industry. Equipped with 100Klux strong light suppression capability, it effectively overcomes surface glare and turbid water interference, achieving stable ranging performance of >3 meters (in clear water) and >1.3 meters (in turbid water). Featuring 360° distortion-free scanning and a 1° precise elevation angle design, it accurately identifies complex structures such as pool floor terrain, steps, and drainage outlets, generating centimeter-level high-precision point cloud maps to enable autonomous path planning and obstacle avoidance for robots. Constructed with chlorine-resistant, antioxidant composite materials and an IP68 dual-layer waterproof structure, it supports operation at depths of up to 5 meters, resisting chemical corrosion and water pressure penetration while significantly enhancing product reliability and service life. The YDLIDAR TW3 has now entered mass production, aiming to drive the transformation of pool cleaning robots from "feature-based" to "smart" devices and empower the industry’s intelligent upgrade.
